Neopets Quick Ref

Neopian Diseases and Cures. You wouldn't think it, but Neopia can be a pretty sickly place sometimes! With diseases ranging from Grumbles to Bloaty Belly roaming the streets, chances are that at some point your Neopets will fall ill. Whether you rely on the standard pharmacy, alternative medicines, or the Healing Springs, there's something for. Neopets has officially removed the word 'g.psy' from all items! As per the latest beta release, 'The Gypsy Camp has been renamed to The Wanderer Camp, and items including the term gypsy have been renamed.' This is a welcome change, imo - I hope they do something about the 'native' items soon. Quick Reference Neopets

Your Neopet's Mood

How do I tell what mood my Neopet is in?
On your Neopets' Quick Ref page, to which there is a link to it underneath your username on the left vertical menu bar, you can find out how your Neopet is feeling. Mood is located directly below your Neopets' health.

What are the levels of mood?
When your Neopet was created, its starting mood was 'content'. If you treat your Neopet badly, its mood could drop to the lowest level: 'depressed'. However, if you are a good owner (which we're sure you are), and you treat your Neopet very well, its mood could reach the highest level: 'delighted!'

What can I do to make my Neopet happier?
Just be a good owner! Give your Neopets toys to play with, groom them, read to them, keep them well fed, and play games together. If your Neopet is feeling exceptionally low, though, a quick ride on the Merry Go Round is a sure-fire way improve your Neopet's mood.

My Neopet gets angry and their mood drops when I play with them. What am I doing wrong?
Neopets can be very sensitive. Be sure you aren't giving them a broken toy to play with.

I'm trying to play with my Neopet, but it refuses to play with the toy that I bought for it!
Sometimes Neopets can be a bit finicky with toys, books, food, and even Petpets! If your Neopet doesn't want to play with a certain toy, there is really nothing you can do, besides finding another toy for it to play with. Also, if they play with the same toy too often, they may get sick of it. As a result, they might not want to play with it any longer.

Are there any drawbacks to letting my Neopet remain depressed?
Wow! You must not be a very good owner if your poor Neopet is depressed! If your Neopet is sad, then there's a chance that it might turn the colour blue to reflect its mood! There goes that nice paintjob!
