Easy way to manually install a core: run Retroarch on your Android and go to Settings User Interface Show Advanced Settings = On. Now the Core settings should be available. Go back to Settings Cores Manage Cores Install or Restore a Core. It'll take you to Retroarch's own Download subdirectory.
